And, each of those essential oils has properties in common, and differs in many ways as well.

Eucalyptus Citriodora:

• Its strong anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anti-infective, analgesic, and nervous sedative actions help with respiratory infections with fevers, bronchitis, pneumonia, rhinitis, laryngitis, and otitis.
• Since it's rich with lemony aldehyde it has a strong anti-fungal action that can be used for fungal infections – depending on how its administrated.
• Tested strong against staph. Aureus and E. coli due to its antibacterial agent.
• Eucalyptus citriodora has the same therapeutic qualities as the other Eucalyptus species, but smells of fruity citronella and lemon.
• Used as an insect repellent. Apply topically in proper dilution, or in a spray bottle.
• This oil brings an energizing citrus sweetness that is quite different from the typical cooling, penetrating fragrance of eucalyptus.

Eucalyptus Globulus:

• Considered to be a very antibacterial therefore better for treating respiratory infections – enhances the breath.
• This is the most common of all the Eucalyptus oils because of its high level of eucalyptal – the therapeutic compound found in Eucalyptus.
• Eucalyptus has a refreshing and stimulating benefit to the mind, helping with concentration. It also helps with feelings of grief and sorrow, as well as opening the heart and dealing with emotions.
• Used as an insect repellent. Apply topically in proper dilution, or in a spray bottle.
