Sugar, Flour, Dairy and Egg Free Turmeric Banana Cake

If you're anything like us, then you find it hard to get through the week without a sweet snack. With so many intolerances and allergies propping up in our times, it can be hard to find healthy options for snacks. Ideally, desert should be a treat that you don't pay for with bloating and pain! Here is a healthy recipe for a flourless, dairy free, turmeric banana bread that is not only good for you and easy on your tummy, but tastes AMAZING! It is great as a breakfast, snack, or sweet treat after a light meal. ⁠ ⁠


  • 2 cups rolled oats⁠
  • 1 cup nut milk of choice (ever tried hazelnut or walnut milk?)⁠
  • 3 large bananas, smashed⁠
  • 3 tbsp honey⁠
  • 1 tsp ground flax seed⁠
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon powder⁠
  • 0.25 tsp ginger powder⁠
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder⁠
  • a pinch baking soda⁠
  • *tbsp peanut butter optional⁠
  • *handful of nuts/raisins/chocolate chips optional⁠ ⁠


  1. Add milk to oats and let soak for a few minutes. ⁠
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix.⁠
  3. Line the baking pan with coconut oil⁠
  4. Bake on 350 celsius for 20 minutes (more/less if needed - every oven is different)⁠ ⁠
