Roast Your Honeyed Nuts!

Please excuse our tongue - in - cheek title, we simply could not resist! This week’s recipe was chosen to complement a festive day with friends and family over hot toddies, winter cocktails, and even fun snack time with the kids.

As with all of our recipes, this one is fairly simple and easy to make. Happy candying!

What you’ll need:

  • A mix of: Walnut halves Pecan halves Cashew halves Almonds Peanuts Macadamias
  • 1 cup runny honey
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Coarse sea/Himalayan salt

And what you’ll do is:

  1. Lightly roast your nut mix on a large baking sheet at 200C for 5 minutes.
  2. Take out of the oven and drizzle with honey and salt, then pop back in the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Once golden and roasted to your liking, take out of the oven and toss with cinnamon powder and let cool

And now your honeyed nuts are ready to be munched!!
