Pumpkin Spice to Ring in the Fall

We can’t let October slip by without honoring it with its traditional symbol: The Pumpkin! While you can easily find pumpkin spiced everything in stores this season, why not make some of your own at home?

We promise it’ll be worth it, and a lot easier on the pockets! You can increase these portions if you want to make a bigger batch and use it regularly over the fall.

Here are the (very simple) ingredients you’ll need:

All powdered:

  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp Cloves
  • 0.25 tsp Ginger
  • 0.5 Tbsp dried orange peel (optional, depending on what you’re using it for)

Alright so we do realize there isn’t actually any pumpkin in this spice blend. The intention here is to add this spice blend to any dish or dessert including pumpkins to really complement all the flavors!
