Fruity Iced Tea for Hot Summer Days

Well! There is no turning back now, Summer is in full swing! In our opinion, there is nothing more pleasant than sitting back, enjoying a wonderful view, and sipping on some delicious homemade iced tea.

That’s why we’d like to share our recipe with you. Take a look...

What you’ll need:

  • Handful of fruit and/or herb of choice (Lemon + Mint, Peaches + Cinnamon, Berries + Wild Rose petals, or whatever you fancy!)
  • 1 Tbsp Black Tea
  • 1 L water
  • 3 Tbsp of honey (more or less to taste)

Drop your fruit slices/herbs into the water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes to allow the fruity flavors to infuse into the water. Take off the heat, and add your black tea. Let sit for no more than 15 minutes (black tea can turn bitter if it’s too strong). Strain with a cheesecloth or muslin and give it a good squeeze to get all your fruity juices into your tea. Stir in your honey to taste. Let your tea cool, and add ice cubes at room temperature. Walk over to your happy spot, and enjoy a lovely summer afternoon!

TIP: If you have a juicer, you can juice your fruits and simply add them to the boiled water with the black tea instead of boiling them in the water beforehand.
