Apple Sauce Breakfast

Do you still have some apple sauce left over from last month’s canning? Here is our favorite way to have apple sauce for breakfast, or a midday snack:

In a bowl of your specially made apple sauce (store bought is just fine too – no judgement here!) simply add:

  • Walnuts, halved
  • Almonds, sliced
  • White raisins (option to soak them in hot water overnight so they get juicy and plump)
  • Coconut shavings
  • Apricots, dried and chopped

And if your apple sauce is not already spiced, go ahead and add a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and anise powder for an extra kick! Happy November
